The first course of the Spring semester, Discovering Gems of the Wine World, kicked off at MiraCosta College this week. Sign up to attend a wine appreciation course at MiraCosta College in 2022!

Coming this year to MiraCosta College is a Wine Tasting Certification Passport. Take 6 wine appreciation courses (at least one core course and at least one master course) and you will receive the coveted stamp of approval. Along the way, track your progress in a wine tasting passport.

Session 5 of the 6-week course I Love California Wine! included a fantastic selection of cheeses, sponsored in part by Cypress Grove. Included in the collection were Humboldt Fog by Cypress Grove, Purple Haze by Cypress Grove, Red Hawk by Cowgirl Creamery, and Original Blue by Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company.

Fall semester of MiraCosta College is in full swing, including I Love California Wine!, a six-week wine appreciation course at the Oceanside campus. We will enjoy wines from all of California’s major wine growing regions, including Temecula Valley, Ramona Valley, Santa Barbara, Paso Robles, Inland Valley, Sierra Foothills, Santa Lucia Highlands, Sonoma County, and Napa Valley.
