Wine tasting in beautiful Temecula Valley is a wonderful experience. Numerous wineries are spread throughout the valley. The best varietals to investigate are Spanish and Italian varietals, including Tempranillo, Sangiovese, and Barbera. Syrah, a Rhone-style grape, also does well. Due to the warm climate and Pierce’s Disease, you won’t find much Chardonnay or Pinot Noir in the valley. Visit today!

New Tasting Spaces

MiraCosta College San Elijo Campus completed construction on a new building this week. Also in the mix is the renovation of Bldg 400, where wine appreciation classes are typically held. The campus reopens on Jan 1, 2022. The winter/spring semester is going to be so exciting!

Hello students of the 6 for $66 MiraCosta wine appreciation class. The current 6 for $66 pack is on sale NOW at 3rd Corner in Encinitas & Ocean Beach. NOW IS THE TIME TO GO BUY YOUR 6 FOR $66 PACKAGE. The wine package will be on sale for the next 3-4 weeks, so please pick up your pack soon. If you are not able to make it to either retail location, please let me know and I can make the purchase for you and will hold your wine at my residence. Once the wine packs are sold out, they will be SOLD OUT!

In the coming weeks, I’ll be sending along pairing options including cheese and other food dishes to pair with these wines. You may want to enjoy a delicious cheese or prepare a unique dish to accompany these wonderful wine selections during our virtual class session on Wednesday, July 28th beginning at 7pm.
